Early on I didn’t know that I would ever go to the shared Island of Dominican Republic/Haiti. After my son and his family pulled up everything and moved there to do mission work well, as a result we needed to travel to the Dominican Republic and I really felt led to take my camera gear. Which brings me to this feature photo for this month. We made a weekend trip up to a village called Palo Alto, the vantage point is called “The Crows Nest” and is about 3200 feet above sea level and 13 miles south of the Atlantic Ocean and beach. Needless to say it was a Mountaintop experience. This photo gives you a view of several mountain ranges looking north towards the ocean. Cattle field patch work, laced with churches, dwellings and orchards. A place that some very special people call home and many work teams travel here from the United States and beyond.
