Previously called Mount McKinley, now Denali known by native Alaskans as “TheGreatOne”. It’s always a gamble with the weather to clearly see Denali as it actually has its own clouds and weather currents. Many travel thousands of miles and don’t get even this view. As we traveled into the park with family this stop presented the most open view. Making it the best shot that day. Even as it towers some 21,000 feet it only has a clear view less than 20 days per year. The photo opportunities are many even on a cloudy day due to the vast amount of wildlife. I’ve never been disappointed traveling into the park. I’d love to hear any comments you have about this photo or about Denali National Park.
