I really love fresh water streams. Add a mountain aspect and even rock beds and pebble rock and now you have my full attention. Not every water shed has a beautiful setting for photographing a stream. Not every season gives you a stunning shot. Shooting streams in the winter can afford some really stunning shots. Snow and ice can have its challenges and many advantages too. Some of the most beautiful rivers and streams are found in Alberta, summer and winter. It comes down to getting in the best vantage point and capturing that interesting and unique waterscape shot. This photo was taken in southwest Alberta, in Banff National Park, south of Jasper.
