Earthquake Park Frost – Anchorage, Alaska

Earthquake Park Frost – Anchorage, Alaska

1-12 EARTHQUAKE PARK FROST_smWe love many things about spending the winter in Anchorage Alaska. One being the dynamic change that occurs in the outdoors. Occasionally, when the temperature drops down and there’s freezing fog, sometimes called “hoar frost”, that builds up on everything outside, including chain link fencing, handrails, trees, etc.

The hoar frost makes for some beautiful scenery and photography. I love finding ways to present the frosty outdoors and try to make it interesting. I hope you enjoy this months feature photo and would love to hear your comments about this photo.
