While spending some time up in a mountain ridge called Eagles Nest with my son and a friend, I decided to go for a walk and take my camera. The air was cool and although overcast it was a beautiful day. The views were absolutely stunning. As I walked along the mountain side I started to notice these bright little plants with needle like blooms that caught my eye. After taking several shots I moved on to landscape photos. Later, I discovered the plants were the same ones my granddaughters had mentioned. When you touch them they shrink down. Appropriately called the “bashful plants”. I hope you enjoy this months photo and I would love to hear your comments about this “Mimosa Pudica” plant.
God Bless,
