Portage Valley Glacier Lake – Alaska

5-34 PORTAGE VALLEY GLACIER LAKEThis months feature photo is one of my favorite places to do photography. The clear emerald blue water is a glacier silt fed lake. The gray tree stumps are from the remainder of edge of the black spruce forest. As I made several
passes here to set up my shot and determine the landscape or in this case a waterscape, I finally got the calm afternoon with zero wind for the reflection. The hay flats grass adds an extra flare of color. I value your opinion and would love to hear any comments you have about this photo.
