Homer Eagle

I love to photograph and simply just watch eagles. During this particular day of photographing eagles I just hadn’t seen what I was looking for. So, joined by my wife and daughter we packed up to leave, but on the way out we saw this adult eagle fly over and perch on a beacon light. I found a parking spot unpacked my camera and lens and made my way ever so slowly towards a close-up shot. The eagle never flew. A great day became an even better one. Always remain flexible and sometimes it will pay off. I hope you like it too, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this photograph. Happy 4th everyone!
