Doe and Fawn – Red Creek, Mississippi

As I share this photo I’m reminded of just how peaceful,  graceful and beautiful wildlife can be especially that of the whitetail deer. When the fawn nurses if the doe senses danger she will move her hind leg in front of the fawn so as to not injure the fawn if she has to bolt and run.  “He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.” Psalm 18:33. This photo was taken right after daylight and was a rare moment when the two where standing side by side. But, I’ll have to be honest with you I still can’t believe the moose is in the deer family. I appreciate your thoughts and comments and to hear from you.
