On this day of travel as we left Golden, B.C. and entered Alberta & Banff National Park we encountered about a foot plus of new snow early that morning, it was the last week of December. As we headed north the views were incredible. We met the park snow plow going in so the left lane was all that was clear and we drove on the wrong side of the highway for half the day. This photo capture is near Mt Murchison & Mt Sarbach, North of Lake Louise. We had lunch near the Athabasca River. It was a perfect day with my wife and fur-babies. I think I love this trek better in the winter.
I’d love to hear any comments about this photo or Banff National Park.
