Honey Bees – Mississippi

Spring is here. I enjoy doing macro photos and it involves somewhat of a different approach and different settings to accomplish.  In this case,  while it may seem a little risky going inside a bee hive with my camera lens I have to say it’s been a beeswax experience.  Making honey is a year round job, although the nectar collection for drone bees is better during blooming, flowering season they have a mirad of ongoing task. Honey production is a very detailed process and time driven operation.  Having the opportunity to do Photography inside the bee hive is a blessing I’ll never forget. I hope you enjoy this photo and I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments on it.
